A core barrel cuts an annular ring in harsh rock conditions. The cutting ring can have round shank chisels, quick-change bars, and roller bits. The inclination of the cutting picks can be adjusted based on the rock’s hardness and the machine’s torque. The dimensions of the core barrels can be customized according to client requirements and are available upon request.
Buckets are recommended for drilling in water-rich environments and using bentonite drilling technology. Based on various job site reports, buckets are designed in two different configurations:
Single Opening: Ideal for fine-grained soils and bored piles up to 1000 mm in diameter. They are particularly suitable for applications involving casings and coarse gravel.
Double Opening: Also suitable for fine-grained soils and bored piles up to 1000 mm in diameter, these buckets are handy for secant pile walls.
Both types are designed with a rotating bottom to facilitate the loading of drilled material. A vent pipe allows water or bentonite to pass through, reducing pressure on the tool and making it easier to lift. The buckets feature a mechanical opening system to release the drilled material quickly. Depending on the soil and rock hardness, they can be fitted with different types of teeth and round shank chisels.
